Junior Addy Brown announced her Top 5 colleges on Thursday.

Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech all made the list.

Brown had a killer year as a sophomore, and that helped ignite the recruitment process for her.

After a long year of college visits and lots of deliberation, Brown finally settled on five finalists.

“I think I had around 15-20 offers. I stopped talking to a lot of schools early because of the distance, and really just focused on the schools close to me because I want to stay close to home,” Brown said.

Brown is an all-around player, which is what most coaches want in an athlete so that helped her secure more visits from top colleges.

“I think my versatility is the main thing that grabbed coaches’ attention because that creates a lot of mismatch issues for other teams,” Brown said.
